Michael's Personal Life
Michael began his magical journey with his first magic set at 7 years old! He always enjoyed performing for his family and friends in the neighborhood. As he grew older he discovered trading card games like Pokémon and YU-GI-Oh! , Classic Nintendo Video Games, and a love for playing music! Michael's senior year in high school he met a professional magician on Hollywood Blvd. who ignited his passion for magic even further. Michael became obsessed and checked out every magic book from his local library. He began truly honing his skills as a performer. Almost 20 years later, Michael is now performing some of his own original pieces of magic inspired by the things he loves and grew up with for audiences around the world! Michael is a proud husband to an incredible and hard working woman who achieved the impossible and graduated with her masters in clinical psychology as an undocumented immigrant. He is also a proud father of an insanely smart and talented daughter who has a passion for art and a bright future to be anything she wants to be! Both of them also love magic and believe it or not can perform magic themselves!

LIVE Appearances and Television
Michael has made several appearances over the years both in person and on television. Michael has performed in the Magic Castle's most prestigious rooms including the Closeup Gallery and Parlor of Prestidigitation. He performed and lectured at the Penguin Magic Theatre in in Columbus, Ohio, the famous Magic Circle in London, England, and the world's largest magic convention in Blackpool, England! Michael's first television appearance was on KTLA 5's Morning News in a segment called "Spoken Dreams. He then appeared along with 5 of his colleagues on Mitú TV's "Cholos Try," a show dedicated to having cholos.... well... try things! Michael's first nationally broadcasted segment was with Howie Mandel on an episode of "Howie Pranks" for America's Got Talent. His most recent television appearance was on an episode of "Penn & Teller Fool Us" where he linked Penn's ring on Teller's forehead.

Michael's Professional Career
Michael began his professional career right out of High School. His first job in 2007 was at the Disneyland Magic Shop, you know, the one that famous actor and comedian Steve Martin started his career in! In 2008 Michael went on to become a Skipper at the World Famous Jungle Cruise! Michael put his skills to the test in 2009 when he auditioned and became a member of the prestigious Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA! The AMA is dedicated to helping foster growth in a magician's career. In 2010 Michael began performing magic for hire at events all over Southern California such as birthday parties, weddings, company events and even an occasional Bar Mitzvah or two! Michael won his first magic award at the Magic Castle's annual "Strolling Magic Olympics" in early 2016 and performed in the Closeup Gallery at the Magic Castle for the first time later that year. Michael then left his 8 year career working for The Walt Disney Company to pursue magic full time!

Teaching and Mentoring the Next Generation
Michael has a passion for creating and teaching his own original magic ideas to the next generation of magicians! Many of Michael's ideas are born from his own sense of nostalgia and inject his passions into his act. Check out Michael's online magic shop to see some of these ideas for yourself! Michael has taught magicians from all around the world whether it be in person 1-on-1 sessions, virtual sessions, or even full lectures to a class full of students. You may also catch him teaching students as a Professor at the Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle.
