REVIEW: "Sharp This" by David BonfadiniFor those who have never heard of "The Magic Crasher," I suggest you check him out! David is a Prankster Magician know for his guerrilla style. He loves to go into real world situations and prank unsuspecting people using magic as his tool! Be sure to visit The Magic Crasher's YouTube Channel and check out his famous "Invisible Chair" magic prank! Sharp This Magic Product Review What is sharp This? Sharp This is a modified Sharpie market that allows you to draw a line on any surface, then whipe it clean instantly! There is no ink involved so it is safe to use on your clothes and is very easy to perform! Is the Gimmick Well Made? Yes! It is created by hollowing out a real Sharpie, so it will look identical to one you already use! As for the gimmick itself, I have been using the same exact ST gimmick for over two years and it still works just as well as the day I got it! Is it Practical? Yes! It can be used on different surfaces as well as surrounded by your audience! It is easy to perform and gets a great reaction! Is the Gimmick Cost Effective? Yes! It will cost you about $25 or so for the gimmick and instructions on how to use it! Not cheap, but definitely affordable for a prop that can easily be applied to any signed card effect! (See "Ambitious Ink" to get an idea of how I use it!) Can the Gimmick Be Examined? No it cannot. If you hand it out directly the spectator will figure it out. However you can easily switch it out with another marker because as I said before, it wis IDENTICAL to one you already own! Does "Sharp This" have Multiple Applications? Yes! This is one of my favorite things about the gimmick! You can come up with your own ways to use it! Two examples I love best are the "Rising Wand" effect where it slowly creeps up in your fingers and the "Bit and Spit Sharpie" where you bite off the tip, swallow it, and visually spit it back on! The sky is the limit with this gimmick! Verdict! Is "Sharp This" Worth it? I would say that "Sharp This" is definitely an awesome addition to include in your working repertoire! It is great as a piece to enhance your magic, or a quick joke effect you can use for an awesome gag! either way I highly recommend this product and urge you to take a look at David Bonfadini's Channel!
