Hindu Shuffle Force Subtlety

Most of us have probably learned the Hindu Force at some point. Many of us however have stopped using it in favor of other methods. But why? The answer is simple, Magicians do not feel the force is convincing enough. If a spectator sat and thought about it for a second, they would realize the card is simply the bottom card of the deck. So how do we fix this?

A great method for covering up this discrepancy is to do a few "practice shuffles" while explains the selection process to the audience. By stripping out the center packet rather than just the top one, you can actually show multiple cards. This will give the illusion that the deck is truly being shuffled. This is called the "Hindu Force Subtlety."

Lastly here is a pro tip for you guys and gals. When performing this subtlety, it is important not to draw too much attention to it. Simply flash the face card casually while performing the shuffle. They will see different cards and their brain will fill in the rest. Explaining it to them in detail will only draw suspicion to the shuffle and make it seem out of place.
