REVIEW: "Phone Vanish" by Blake Vogt & Dan White

"Phone Vanish" is ALREADY making a name for itself as potential "TRICK OF THE YEAR!" The funny thing about it, it is SO EASY to perform! The misdirection and motivation involved is top tier and the best part is there are NO GIMMICKS, SET UP, OR SPECIAL PHONES required. Just good ol' fashioned sleight of hand and ANY phone! What is "Phone Vanish?"

"Phone Vanish" is perhaps one of the easiest and cleanest ways to vanish ANY PHONE that does not require any sort of gimmick, set up, or special phone. The phone can even be borrowed if you wanted to vanish someone else's phone. Blake does an amazing job teaching every aspect of the effect from technique to performance theory, to different ideas using any phone!

On to the REVIEW!

Is the product high quality? YES! The video is very well made, the instruction is clear, and the audio is easily to listen to. You can tell this is not Blake's first rodeo!

Is the product cost effective? Eh... Honestly I think $19.99 is a bit high, but it is definitely worth it if you are going to use it!

Is the effect practical? Yes and No. What do I mean by this? Well, if you are performing for a small audience (maybe 5-6 people) you can pull off this highly visual masterpiece! It is a bit on the angle sensitive side and cannot be performed surrounded. Also, the "move" itself is a bit more difficult to perform for more "husky" magicians.

Are there multiple applications? YES! Blake includes multiple variations and performance ideas as well as an in depth tutorial on misdirection and motivation to make the move hit even harder!

Verdict!

Would I recommend you buy "Phone Vanish?"

I would say YES! HOWEVER... it really depends on a few factors. I would suggest beginners who are just starting out to get more familiar with the art of misdirection before taking on this venture. The motivation and "acting" required to pull off the vanish is something that a more intermediate magician would have an easier time with.  

Having said that, if you are comfortable with sleight of hand magic that requires misdirection, and you are looking for an awesome, simple, organic, and impromptu effect that hits hard, then
